Rick slowly blinks as the morning sun crests over the bedroom window sill signaling the start of another day. He looks over at his wife, still sleeping and smiles. As he lays there, thoughts of the mysterious woman enter his mind. His eyebrow raises as he wonders if the events from last night were merely a dream. He dismisses the thoughts of this woman as it doesn't matter either way. There is no weeping woman on his bed, just his lovely wife. Rick makes his way to the kitchen following the aroma of fresh brewed coffee, almost half laughing on how something as simple as a coffee pot with a timer can make life easier. He fills two cups leaving just enough room for the requisite creamer, sets them on a tray adding bagels, cream cheese, and some fresh fruit. Carrying the tray to the living room he discovers his wife is already there waiting for him. He puts the tray on the table nearest the couch, hands his wife her coffee, and settles down next to her. Rick with the mastery of a skill often practiced, grabs the TV remote, pushes the on button, navigates to the local news channel, and returns the remote to its resting place, all while adding cream to his coffee and taking the first few sips of this caffeinated nectar. Suddenly he hears his wife gasp and point at the television. There on the screen is a picture of the woman who was at their house last night. 'It wasn't a dream,' he thinks to himself. MISSING the caption reads. Just as Rick is about to turn up the volume, there is a knock at the door. The knocking continues as Rick makes his way across the living room. He opens the front door to find this short man in a suit, with brillantine hair and a waxed mustache. The man takes a step closer, holds out a picture and says in a thick french accent, "Bonjour, I am Monsieur Poirot. Do you know this woman?" OMG!!! How? How did you know???

Someone I don't know showed up at my door crying and asking for my wife today. They're in the back talking. In 22 years I've never met this person. Now I'm afraid to get in the shower with a stranger in the house. This kinda sucks Now she's asleep on my bed,and her car is blocking the driveway so I can't even get out. GRRRR! Thanks. She's still here. No idea what's going on. If she doesn't go home soon I guess it's time to run around naked and embarras her? lol And I thought I was reading a 4chan story.
