We are very pleased to announce the release of the ProBoards Plugin Library. Available from your admin area, the Plugin Library will serve as an easy to use way to find and try new plugins for your forum. From the library you can either download the .PBP file or install the plugin to your forum directly with a single click. Submitting to the LibraryIf you would like to submit your plugin to the ProBoards Plugin Library, just follow these easy steps: - Go to the plugin in question in the Build area (Admin Area > Plugins > Build) and go to the Export tab
- From here, click on Export to ProBoards Library, then Add a New Plugin.
- Take a second to verify that all information about your plugin is correct (the more descriptive, the better!)
- You must upload between one and five images of your plugin. These must be less than 1 MB each, and will look best at a resolution of 960 pixels by 560 pixels. Make sure that your images are representative of your plugin, as they will be the most obvious distinguishing feature of your plugin in the Library.
- Select up to five tags for your plugin, to make it easy for other ProBoards members to find your plugin.
- After everything's filled out, hit the export button and your plugin is on its way!
After every plugin is submitted, it is reviewed by ProBoards to ensure the highest quality. You will be notified by email when your submission has been accepted, or in the case that it needs a few changes, you will be emailed the changes that need to be made before it can be accepted. After a plugin has been accepted to the library, you are able to update it in much the same way as adding a new plugin to the library. Simply choose Update an Existing Plugin from the options on the export tab.

That's amazing. Although, I'm not seeing the button to export to the library? Has that not been made available yet?

Not a problem. I'm going to chalk it up to a server issue caused by a renegade bear on the edge with nothing left to lose.

Tim Camara, I've tried twice now, each time getting a "Database Query Error", also when saving info for the plugin (i.e description), it throws up a database error. Let me know when it's working, and I'll try again.

I can access it when clicking on "create new themes". There are now four options as opposed to the usual three ~ Create a New Theme Copy an Existing Theme Import an Existing Theme Import from ProBoard's Library. What a fantastic addition for those who are switching over and have no idea how to create themes. ProBoards did really good with this one.

Tim Camara, not sure if I need to reply to Brian's plugin thread, or here or where.. but when I try install his Redux plugin, it says "Plugin contains invalid data. Unable to decode plugin data." No other plugin there for me to test, so can't see if it's just that or others. Edit: Woopsy, Firefox 20.0.1 Can't rate the plugin either... unless in order to rate I also HAVE to write a review? Seems silly if so

Stinky666 - Sorry, that's the result of a bug I'm currently working to fix up, it's not related to Brian's plugin at all.

Tim Camara, I added a few plugins to test the system, few issues. I exported my plugin with the version 0.8.9, however it shows it as 1.0.0. So I tried updating it just now, 0.8.10, same issue, still shows 1.0.0. Also the layout of the update column may need rethinking... www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/12Also, how many updates can we submit to a plugin (like X in X minutes, as I don't want to flood the system with updates), or is it just 1 approval for all updates submitted?
